Teddy Bear Christmas Card

Here is both the outside and the inside of my Teddy Bear Christmas card. I took a Teddy Bear from the Cricut Christmas cartridge, flipped it and welded it, then cut it out with my Cricut Expression. The cardstock is textured, then I hit it with some stickles, inked it, and slapped a bow on it. The Cricut cut the eyes and nose out, couldn't keep it from doing it. So, I used a black sharpie to color the cream cardstock, then put liquid glass on top of the black. It filled in the holes nicely and has given the eyes shine and the nose a wet look. I recut the shape a smidge smaller on cream cardstock, inked it, stamped Merry Christmas on it, and glued it to the inside. My kids love it, so I'm hoping a soldier's little kid will be happy to get it. :-)

We need prayer!!

My 40 year old little sister received word from her doctor today there is nothing more they can do for her. He told her she only had a couple of weeks left. My husband and I will be flying out to see her Nov 12. Please pray she can hold out until we get there!

Kid's School Photos

Mak and Zac's school pictures for this year. Yes, Makayla has her "cheesy" grin, as usual. But she's still cute, don't you think? And Zac, well he's just the most handsome boy in the world!

Christmas Cards for Soldiers

Once I found out our soldiers have no way to purchase cards for their families for the holidays, well I jumped right on that band wagon. Here is the first demo I have put together, both the outside and the inside. Let me know what you think!

Magnet Dolls with clothes

Mac and Zac are going crazy playing with these, and I only have two that have clothes! I hope that is a sign that this will be a popular Christmas present. :-)

My Crafting Space

First Layout with my Cricut

I never thought I would like paper piecing, too time consuming. But, I have found that it is actually a lot of fun! I also used the vinyl to decorate the door to my craft room. :-)

I have my craft room back.

We have sent the kids toys into their rooms, after cleaning out a bunch of them for charity, and I now have my craft room back!! I am soooooooo excited, I have spent the last couple of nights in here after putting everyone else to bed, and am having a blast being creative again. I would spend 24/7 crafting if I could! :-)
Fall is just around the corner for us here in Tucson and the kids are looking forward to getting out the fall decorations. Soon we'll be headed to Wilcox for the pumpkin patch and I am looking forward to getting some good shots to scapbook this year. The kids are really looking forward to the corn maze. Hummmmmm, I wonder how long I can lose them in there? ~smile~

I Decorated My Cricut E!

I just love working with the vinyls, they are so easy to cut and to manipulate. Now that my Cricut is all gussied up, it's time to hit the house!
